Senior Network Engineer
·         Develops solutions to a variety of complex problems that require independent judgment and ingenuity to modify procedures and standards related to network administration.  Work is accomplished under general direction.  
·         Designs, implements, and provides hardware and software support for enterprise data, voice, video, and industrial controls networks.  Provides network traffic analysis and optimization recommendations to ensure a highly available, efficient, and secure delivery platform for data and voice traffic.  
·         Supports enterprise VoIP telephone solution including back-office services and end-user requirements at local site and multiple remote sites.  
·         Provides support of Cisco firewalls, SSL/VPN appliances and other security products such as network access control (NAC).  
·         Manages and maintains growing network by analyzing usage trends, anticipating growth patterns, and applying new technologies.  
·         Diagnoses and resolves technical issues by identifying specific service problems impacting the environment (server, LAN/WAN, voice, etc.).  
·         Provides assistance and expertise to other IT team members.  
·         Responsible for configuration, testing, and execution of network lab.  
·         Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in computer science, electrical engineering,  MIS, or related field from an accredited four-year college or university
·         Five+ years of professional IT experience with Cisco routers, switches, WiFi, and firewalls.  Cisco certifications preferred
·         Combination of education and experience may be substituted for the degree requirement
·         Fundamental understanding of layer-2/layer-3 networks
·         Experience in implementing and managing Cisco core route/switch environment
·         Wireless solutions experience desirable including multipoint radio and cellular
·         Proficiency in installing, configuring, and maintaining VPN and provider-based IP/MPLS networks
·         Fundamental understanding in design, implementation, and security of Industrial Control System networks
·         Strong interpersonal, organizational, and team skills
·         Solid written and verbal communication skills
·         Participate in off-hour support
·         Travel required, up to 20%
